Today the Honourable Marjory LeBreton, Leader of the Government in the Senate and Secretary of State (Seniors) and the Honourable Monte Solberg, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, further demonstrated Canada’s New Government’s commitment to seniors by announcing the creation of a National Seniors Council, while at the same time providing nearly $14 million in funding to seniors across Canada through the New Horizons for Seniors Program.
